This week we have been getting our hands dirty...
Our lettuce seeds were ready to harvest so we picked and tasted them. We could dip them into olive oil, apple balsamic vinegar, salt, or eat them plain. Many children enjoyed "Salad" during activity time.
The Discovery Table is filled with soil. We can use our hands or sticks to dig in it.
Maybe you'll be lucky and find a worm!
With Ms Kadota, the children are exploring print-making. This week, each child drew a design to create their own printing plate, and learned how to roll the ink onto the plate. The ink makes a crunchy sound when it's ready and the clean roller is squeaky.
There was delight at each reveal of how the prints turned out.
